Karon+Scott | Camden, AL Wedding
"I loved our hashtag for the wedding: #voncannonball. Scott came up with it actually and it has been so fun to use throughout everything. My bridesmaids made this banner for us! Isn’t it fun?"
"My aunts made my garter and my handkerchief. I had one of my grandmother’s cameos and the other’s stick pin attached to my bouquet."
"My mom’s favorite part of the day was having all of the girls get ready at our house. This picture says it all!"
"My dad was so funny about not seeing my dress or bridal portraits before the wedding. I loved this moment."
"I am a neutral palette kind of person. This was exactly what I wanted for my girls. Aren’t they beautiful?!"
"Scott and I did not see each other before the wedding so reading the letter he wrote me before walking down the aisle was exactly what I needed. He is typically the calm one and I am the nervous one. It was funny to talk to him afterwards and hear how nervous he was. The calm and contentment I felt before the wedding was so surreal. For that moment, I guess we switched places."
"I love this picture of our moms. They worked so hard to make our day special."
"People say the wedding is a blur, but I remember every bit of the ceremony, even the little nuances. I kept pursing my lips trying not to cry and there were these tiny bugs flying around (summer in the South!) and Scott kept blowing them away from my face. Marrying Scott in a small church with our closest family and friends was my absolute happiest moment and will forever be ingrained in my memory."
"I am pretty awkward for photos, so we just talked and walked for the most part during the session after the wedding. My friends joke because I baby-talk Scott sometimes without even knowing it… I am certain there was some of that going on here! I am so glad Jackie and Luke captured a little of that!"
"The reception was across the street at my brother’s home and we kept walking over to see the progress as they were setting up. It was so fun to see that process- I had a fit when I saw the gorgeous magnolia garland running down the staircase. I think I went back and forth no less than ten times before the wedding."
"We practiced our first dance maybe 20 times. When we got to the dance floor Scott was ready and I could not follow his lead AT ALL. My mind went blank when I saw all of the guests watching. We laughed the whole time because I could not remember one step, after all that practice."
"Scott and his groomsmen sang "You’ve Lost that Lovin’ Feelin’" to me… this picture says it all. It was hilarious!"
"Dad was the life of the party- no one in attendance expected any less, and Scott & I would not have it any other way."
"I overshot the bouquet toss and my second mother, Mrs. Kay, caught it! I just loved that!"
"September 6th was our absolute best day. I cannot put into words how happy Scott and I are to have started our marriage with such a fun celebration! Our families worked so hard to be sure every detail was perfect and for that, we are forever grateful. Jackie and Luke are AMAZING! They were super easy and fun to work with and we are thrilled with the photos of our most special day!"
